Surface Water

If your water supply is a lake, shallow well, river, or stream, there are special risks associated with surface water contamination.
Surface water systems are susceptible to contamination from runoff. Each surface water systems is unique and may pose different contamination risks. It is important that when considering treatment systems for surface water, that the system is certified to remove contaminants under runoff conditions. Our systems provide the highest level of protection from surface water contamination.

Consumer Warning! A common practice in the water treatment industry is to use ultraviolet treatment systems. Ultraviolet (UV) systems have been proven affective in deactivating microbes. However, for proper operation, the water must be free of discoloration and turbidity that is common with runoff occurrence. We recommend a complete water quality assessment to determine if a UV system would be effective. If you currently have a UV system installed, we recommend testing for bacteria during the wet season.
